Soy el pastor T. Jerimy Marks. Tengo el privilegio y gran responsabilidad de pastorear la gente de la Iglesia Bautista el Encuentro. Espero que puedo ser de bendición para cada uno que asiste en nuestros servicios y que también puedo ser el instrumento que Dios use para instruirlos a través de la Palabra de Dios.
My Story
At a young age, God showed me, through the preaching of his Word, that I was a sinner and that my sin had a price. I understood that Jesus Christ died on the cross to pay that price, was buried, and rose again three days later. It was at that moment that I placed my faith in him, and he considered me one of his children. Later, in my youth, I understood that God wanted to use me in a very specific way: to preach his Word. I dedicated my life to preaching his Word wherever he would have me to go. After a year and a half of biblical studies in the States, I God led me to continue my studies in Peru. There, with God's help, I completed my Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Biblical Studies. Upon finishing my studies,I returned to the United States, God gave me a beautiful wife, we raised support as missionaries, and we returned to Peru to do God's will. Since then, God has allowed us to plant two churches in the city of Arequipa, Peru. I never thought we would leave Peru, but God had other plans for my family. On September 17, 2023, we inaugurated services at the Encounter Baptist Church in Versailles, Kentucky.
